Client Assistance

The responsibilities of Personal Care Assistants in aged care are diverse and encompass a range of tasks. PCAs also help with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients. They provide support with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and medication reminders. Certifications

To be accepted as a Personal Care Assistant at AB Nurses Support Services, candidates must possess a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or an equivalent qualification. Experience in aged care or a related field is highly valued, as is a genuine passion for working with older adults. Personal Care Assistants should possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a compassionate nature. They should also have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to the individual needs and preferences of clients.
